Re: What to take for sleep? by Klauss 11 y
In the beginning, when AF was bad, I did not know what’s going on. Family doctors had no idea. A friend suggested me to go to a homeopath. He said it was AF and gave me some remedies. Some of them were for sleep. They worked. Helped me sleep longer up to 6 am.Klauss. p.s. I mentioned before when I was half way through the treatment, I drunk tea with honey and cheese sandwich 1 hr before going to bed. (it was an experiment after reading Dr. Peat articles) It worked. I started eating easy carbs again. 1,975 hits

Was your AF caused by parasites? by AngelofEventide

11 y View Entire Thread 2
I was dx several years ago with Roundworm parasites. Then two years ago we adopted a rescue dog and found out she had giardia. She was treated successfully and is fine. I think I may have gotten it from her however. My AF has gotten really bad since her then diagnosis. So there is a good chance I have both the Roundworm and the Giardia. My question is, have any of you traced your AF back to a parasite infection? Thanks. 1,169 hits

Most people on curezone, you included as I tried to tell you many times before. ”AF” isn’t real. Routine Systemic Candida isn’t real. Most people here do not have parasites or chronic lyme. People have been under-eating for years which causes many symptoms and they go and get taken advantage by a lot of well-intended or flat-out crook alternative practitioners or supplement-selling websites who convince people they have these scarry diagnoses of ”AF”, chronic candida, parasites, or even lyme, and when your sick and desperate, you’ll believe and try anything and spend lots of money ... 3,889 hits

It would be a good idea if a doc could guide you in the beginning. For example, dr lam observed hundreds people with AF. If one had and advanced stage of AF, it would be a good idea to have a doc with established protocol. Not like my local naturopatic docs who say: try this. It’s great stuff. The SSRI are not good according to Dr Peat (raypeat.com). Actually, I had serum serotonin 2 times higher the upper normal level. Did it make me feel good? - Not at all! I had a very similar issue with AF. I found that my cortisol was flipped, high at night which kept me up at night, and low in the morning so no energy. Took me a while to figure it out. One of the keys to healing AF is getting a good nights sleep. There were a few supplements that I took to help with the high cortisol. One was Seriphos which will normalize or lower high cortisol so you can sleep. The other one is Holy Basil an adaptogen that helps get rid of the nervous feeling by lowering excess adrenaline/cortisol. You need to start taking Iodine, Lugol’s 5% solution. Thyroxine and other drugs don’t help the thyroid they mask symptoms. To check if you need Iodine, do a Basal temperature test, google it to find out the method. Another thing you want to check if your adrenals are healthy and not fatigued.
